The EU and Canada plan to unveil a strategic partnership at a Montreal summit on 29 October, focusing on digital trade, critical minerals, energy and joint defence projects. The pact includes a tech alliance, cyber and AI cooperation, and a 50-aircraft wildfire-fighting fleet to be operational by 2030\.
